The Jedediah Smith Society recently announced its April 2-5 rendezvous trip, which is open to both members and non-members.Beginning in Crescent City on April 2 and ending at Fort Vancouver on April 5, rendezvous participants will visit several of the places where the famous explorer and fur trader Jedediah Smith sojourned while making his way north in 1828.Included will be the site of the Umpqua attack and Fort Vancouver.
