The Brookings Flying Club is offering financial scholarships of up to $1500 each to Curry County Oregon and Del Norte County California high school graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in the field of aeronautics.The purpose of the scholarship fund is to provide local students with financial support and an incentive to enter a field of study in aviation. The aviation field is in need of qualified employees in most branches of their industry, and offers many occupations to choose from.
