Caltrans, Del Norte Solid Waste Management Authority, and Hambro Waste Solutions Group will host a free large item Dump Day. This Dump Day event is part of Governor Newsom’s $1.2 billion Clean California initiative which makes this event, and other litter prevention and educational events occurring throughout the state, possible. This Dump Day collection is limited to 6 large items per trip.Residents can dispose of furniture, appliances, mattresses (limit 6 per load), tires (limit 9 per load), and other large, bulky household items. No construction materials, business waste, green/yard waste, electronics, hazardous waste, treated wood waste, or asbestos of any type will be accepted.
