I vote because it is my best opportunity to state my preferences on all the issues and candidates involved in the current election cycle. Voting is a precious right in this country and I feel strongly that it is my responsibility to participate and exercise that right.One of my preferences is Susan Masten, a candidate for County Board of Supervisors - 5th District. She is an experienced leader with an impressive background in public service. As supervisor, she has served her district well since her appointment earlier this year. She has a consensus approach allowing all interested and affected parties to participate in solutions to problems in Del Norte county.
