Maxine passed away peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 95, in Sutherlin, OR. She was born in Cherry Hill, Arkansas to Elihu Ford & Alta Martin Ford.She had an unconventional approach to life. She was the favorite fun Auntie.She was that person who didn’t pretend to be anyone she wasn’t. She loved her family & never ceased to cause amusement for us & nice to have her in our corner when we need a cheer. She was fondly called Nana by Tanya Ford Anderson, Cynthia Ford Steinruck & Lindsay Ford.She is survived by her children: Larry Altstatt (Ginny), Debbie Briddle (Jeff), Ricky Cooper (Dorrie), Randy Cooper (Donna). Grandchildren: Carrie Montgomery, Jeff Murtaugh, Scott Cooper & Josh Cooper. Sister-in-laws: Mickey Ford & Mary Ford. Numerous nieces/nephews. With 8 Great Grandchildren.She was proceeded in death by her parents. Her husband, Windell “Leroy” Cooper. Siblings: Norman Ford, Alma Welch, Eula “Dean” Lee & Elihu Ford, Jr. Granddaughter, Lora Cooper Dunbar and a stillborn son, Ivan.A special appreciation for the Loving Care she received at Chantele’s Loving Touch & the monthly visits from Dr Luke Herscher, of Sutherlin, OR.
