The Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation (“Nation”) is excited to announce their 15th annual Dee-ni’ Day across from Lucky 7 Casino at the Howonquet Hall Community Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. This day is open to the public and the entire community to enjoy. There will be craft and food vendors, cultural demonstrations, kid activities, stick games, horseshoe tournament, indigenous works art show and more. When walking across Highway 101 to and from Lucky 7 Casino, Fuel Mart and the Dee-ni’ Day event please use the cross walk and please be cautious of fast-moving vehicles. A portion of North Indian Rd at the Howonquet Hall and to the Howonquet Cemetery will be closed.
