Cheryle Ann Stephens Arellano passed away peacefully in her sleep August 31, 2022. She was born in Woodland, CA and attended Woodland schools. She moved to Crescent City, CA where she resided for almost 40 years. She loved the ocean and the redwoods. She never thought she would leave Crescent City. However, in early 2022 she moved to Arizona for health reasons. She lived with her son, Alex, and his family. Cheryle married Art Arellano in Woodland and they had three sons Bruce, Jeff, and Alex. Later, after moving to Crescent City she met and married Ben Arellano. She was preceded in death by her parents Elzie and Agnes, and husband Ben. Cheryle is survived by her brother Henry, sister Linda, sons Bruce, Jeff and Alex and several grandchildren of which she was proud. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Ben, in the veteran’s cemetery in Crescent City.
