On the morning of October 15th, 2021, David C. Wick, Sr, age 70, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side. David grew up in Roseburg, Oregon, but spent the last 40 years living with the love of his life, Charlene βCharlieβ Wick, in Crescent City, California.His love for cars, racing, and vintage, kept him a founding and active member of the Northern Knights Car Club as well as the Crescent City Car Club. Dave had many good friends from the car clubs that he enjoyed spending time with. Dave was always willing to help anyone when asked especially if it was a car problem. He could also build an amazing bird house or two. He will be remembered as a man who smiled often and had a great sense of humor. He was always ready for a good joke.David was a great husband, brother, father, grandfather, and an excellent friend. David loved his family, was blessed with some really good friends, and of course, CARS. Dave worked for Snoozie Shavings for 20 years and for Tidewater. He was an excellent diesel mechanic and liked to build and rebuild old cars. He really enjoyed showing off the β31 Ford Coup that he made from an old body.David is survived by his wife Charlie Wick, brother Grant Smith (Colleen) and family.
