Looking back to my childhood years, there are very few people who stand out. Terri Colton is the one who not only stands out, but who rises to the top. Terri was my Drill Team coach during my high school years. During my freshman year I struggled and engaged in behavior that no one would be proud of. However, despite that, Terri believed in me and helped me turn things around. She was not only a coach, but also a mentor and a role model to all. Terri helped me more than she probably even knows, and I can attribute much of what I have accomplished in life to the foundation she helped me to build. I can recall that my first job was a direct result of Terri’s assistance as she helped connect me to the position. Terri always conducted herself in a professional way. I have remained connected to Terri over the years and was even able to assist her with the Drill Team in her final year as coach. Terri is still the inspiring person now, as she was 20 years ago. I know Terri to give everything her all. There is no job too small or too large for Terri.
