Robert “Robby” Neil Van Dusen, a lifelong resident of Del Norte County, passed away on Thursday, May 5th, 2022. He was sixty years old. Robby was a graduate of Del Norte High School, class of 1982.He had a career with the Del Norte County Road Department.Robby enjoyed spending time in nature more than anything else. His innate compassion and kindness touched the lives of everyone he encountered. He changed the lives of many with his Christ-like ways.Survivors include his father and stepmother John and Jeanette Van Dusen of Requa, California, his sisters Julie Van Dusen-Bergren of Crescent City, California, and Marie Van Dusen-Reed of Austin, Texas, and his daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter, Terah Van Dusen, Stephen Knox and Autumn Knox of Walton, Oregon.He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Van Dusen-Gregory-Sheilds of Citrus Heights, California and his mother Beverly Van Dusen-Adamson of Crescent City, California. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who all loved him very much. In lieu of flowers, take a walk in the woods.
