Former Sheriff Randy Waltz was arraigned in Del Norte County Superior Court Tuesday on felony allegations he made false statements on voter registration and election materials. He entered a plea of not guilty.His case will advance to a preliminary hearing currently set for Thursday, May 12, at 10 a.m. in Courtroom 2. The hearing will be held before the Honorable Susan Greenberg, an assigned judge from San Mateo County who was appointed when both local judges declared a conflict in the case.
