By Donna A. Westfall – May 14, 2023 Today we learned about a young, pregnant woman who is changing her life. It's so encouraging to hear that she has stopping drinking and doing drugs, is cooking healthy meals and is working enthusiastically with her boyfriend to welcome this child into their home. In today's upside-down culture, who knows how much longer there will be a Mother's Day to celebrate. Now they want to call them "birthing person." The lunacy of people in government who can no longer give a description of "what is a woman" boggles the mind. Have they gone mad? If you still have your mother in your life, the bible tells us to honor our parent. Doesn't say you have to like them or love them. But to honor them is to show respect to them. For those families that do love their mother's, or wants to honor them; gifts of flowers, a meal out or a cooked goodie, a framed photo, a gift card, or a handmade item, gardening item for the gardener, art item for the artist are all appreciated gifts.
