The Crescent City Fire Department responded to a fully-engulfed residence on the 300 block of McNamara Avenue, near Butte Street on Tuesday morning,The small house had been abandoned for several years. It was littered with an accumulation of trash and debris left by transients who frequently occupied the structure. The residence was a complete loss, but no injuries were reported.Next door neighbor Brandi Maynard said that when she moved here, “the first thing I did was put up a fence.
