I regularly go out to the cemetery to visit my husband, groom his plot and check on it. I was very upset to see that someone had stolen a white metal, baroque cross, I had placed behind the center of his headstone. I know the wind did not blow it away. It was secured with four garden staples, which were pounded into the ground. Many times, I have found the imitation roses I put there pulled out of their containers, laying beside them. The last time I was there, all the flowers were completely gone. These flowers were not blown away either by the wind. They were secured in a way that they would have had to have been pulled on. What kind of cold-hearted person would do such a thing? For those of us who are suffering from the death of our loved one, something like this only compounds it.
